j&s: post doctor.

well..as expected, yesterday was a little bit of a rough one. doctor appointments are never fun, especially now that judah has a super keen little memory and recognizes the building before we ever get inside. BUT….good news on the judah front. after having his iron levels checked again (after pushing some iron-rich foods the last few months), his levels are looking great! that means no more blood tests every couple of months! SUCH a big answer to prayer! 🙂

little sorin had three shots yesterday. he was a trooper, but hasn’t been feeling great since. no surprise. he’s pretty cranky and his little legs hurt. we hardly got an hour of sleep last night because he’s been having such a tough time with this round of vaccinations. so far, the tylenol hasn’t seemed to help. but hopefully he’ll feel better tonight.

a little story from today:

it’s been…very warm. both the boys seem to have gone through a gigantic growth spurt and all their summer pj’s from last year don’t fit anymore. big surprise. HA! so last night they slept sans blankets to make up for having to wear long sleeves and pants. today, after we had our pizza lunch with daddy at the house, i took them by target to pick up a pair of pj’s. they were both ecstatic. wearing matching clothes with brother is quickly becoming one of judah’s favorite things. so…they got matching pajamas.

after we went through the checkout and paid for our loot, from the register to the door, judah yelled, “i’m so lucky! mommy..i’m so lucky! soodee, we’re so lucky!!!” then, as i was buckling him in his car seat, he told me, “i say to daddy tonight, ‘thank you for pajaaaaaamas!” his gratitude, even for little things like new pajamas, makes me so happy. love his joy!! i have to say, i’m the lucky one. 😉
