third time’s a charm.

in case you haven’t already heard the news….brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrum (that’s my drum roll. just go with it.)

BABY #3 is on the way!!!!

surprised?

yeah. us too. robby suspected it, i didn’t. i had been feeling pretty nauseas, had food aversions, smells were overwhelming..you know, the usual signs. didn’t mean anything to me. i actually researched “illnesses that mimic morning sickness”. there weren’t any. so on my 26th birthday, i took the test. it was a giant positive. we always use the clear blue just because i would be the one to misread a typical test. so it flat out said, “pregnant.” yep. no getting misinterpreting that one.

after the initial shock wore off, i still didn’t believe it. still didn’t seem real to me, although the morning sickness was becoming more and more real to me every day, but i went ahead and scheduled my 8 week doctors appointment. we went just this past monday and had our first ultrasound. initially we thought we were going to have a december baby. the due date that WE calculated was about december 1st. one of the first things our ultrasound tech said was, “wow. this baby is really big. are you sure you’re only 8 weeks along?” yes. i’m sure. very sure. but somehow apparently still wrong. baby bean measured as being past the 11 week mark. WHAT?! that was a pretty big shock. haha. so, after talking to our OB, the first due date she gave us was november 9th, but we walked away with her changing the date to november 2nd. i guess the due date is still kind of up in the air. baby #3 is going to be a surprise right up until the end!

AND…we had some happy news, our doctor has started doing “sneak peek” ultrasounds at 16 weeks, so…right after we get back from our california trip (oh yeah….we’re going to orange county in may. taking judah to Disneyland to see mcqueen and mater for his third birthday!), we’re going to get to find out if we’re having another boy or a little girl!! AHHH!! so many exciting things happening in the next month!! 🙂

so. any guesses? is it another sweet little boy or a precious little girl? robby’s kind of leaning toward thinking its a girl. 😉
