sorin turned one yesterday!! crazy, right? i can hardly believe it! a year ago he was just a little bundle and yesterday we had a chance to celebrate a, not-so-little anymore, one year old sorin! we’ve been so very blessed to have him in our lives! 🙂 we didn’t really get a chance to take any pictures! i snapped a couple photos of the cake before we tore into it like ravenous velociraptors, but we didn’t really get any of the birthday boy. instead we just enjoyed the moment, taking mental pictures that we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives. it was really special, actually! 🙂
on a sidenote…
tomorrow judah & sorin have a doctor appointment. judah is having his iron counts tested again and sorin is having his routine vaccinations. one of them is the MMR vaccine. i know that vaccinations are kind of a controversial topic right now, and i know people say there’s evidence that they help, but also that they can hurt. either way..vaccination time always makes me uneasy and put me on edge. so if you’ll just be praying that God will keep little sorin safe and healthy, regardless of your feelings about vaccines, i would truly appreciate it! and if you’d also keep little judah in your prayers: that his iron counts would come back great, and we’ll finally be done going to the doctor every couple of months for blood work. because honestly…we’re all pretty over it. thanks so much, friends!! 🙂
